Presenter: Jenni Ford, LCPC (she/they)

Jenni Ford is a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC)  in practice as a therapist for 18 years. They are a non-binary and nerdy therapist who focuses on therapeutic attunement in their sessions, supportive challenge, and providing encouragement for clients to prioritize caring for themselves. They are a sex-positive and LGBTQA+/Queer human and bring that to her work. Providing support for trans and gender non-conforming teens and young adults is a very important part of her work. Jenni uses a range of therapeutic frameworks including Art therapy, DBT, ACT, EMDR, and even humor to support change. She received their MA in counseling psychology from The Adler school in Chicago in clinical mental health counseling and art therapy. They are a published author and guest lecturer on Art Therapy at graduate programs across the Midwest. Throughout their career, she has worked in many different settings including private practice, hospice, inpatient, and residential treatment.
